Moonlit Hike to Delicate Arch

The Headwaters Institute coordinator workshop was heldDelicate Arch from Feb 2-4 in Moab, Utah. There were coordinators from over 15 different watersheds across the US and we accomplished a great deal in 2 1/2 days. On Friday night a group of 10 of us hiked in the moonlight out to the Delicate Arch in Arches National Park. Without the crowds, and illuminated by the moonlight, the Arch was even more spectacular than when I saw it in the daylight with all the tourists. The peaceful feeling in the desert is even more exaggerated with such a stunning view. The only photo I have of the Arch is at sunset from a trip a couple years ago, but it still shows how incredible the view is.
