Well, since I’ve been home, the skiing has been remarkable up in Tahoe. Four feet of fresh powder last Friday, and another foot or two each night through Wednesday. Can’t really ask for more than that. Sunday and Monday the slopes were empty because it was snowing all day, but riding on the chairlift allowed just enough time for our tracks to fill back in before the next run. Highway 5o was closed yesterday due to a mudslide, but reports from Kirkwood and Northstar skiiers were of outstanding conditions, no lines, and sunshine. We’re finally getting some snow which will mean spring boating too! Gotta love California.
